Initially launched from November 5th to November 14th, 2021, it made a return from March 10th to 19th, 2023, in celebration of NASCAR's 75th anniversary. This event featured a new NASCAR 75 vehicle with a custom engine startup and wide-body design, which was highlighted during the event. Players had the opportunity to embark on a quest that, upon completion, allowed them to keep the featured vehicle. This quest involved driving the NASCAR 75 vehicle from the NASCAR Skyscraper to a limited-time NASCAR Racetrack situated in the Desert/Dunes area within the game. Additionally, players could purchase cosmetic items in the game, as well as official NASCAR x Jailbreak merchandise either at the NASCAR Skyscraper in-game or in the Roblox store under the Badimo group.
Gameplay Mechanics:
- New Vehicle Acquisition:
Players had the chance to acquire the NASCAR 75 vehicle by completing a quest. This quest required them to drive from the NASCAR Skyscraper to the limited-time NASCAR Racetrack.
- Customization:
During the event, players could customize their vehicles with various cosmetic items available for purchase.
- Racing:
Players could test their driving skills on the limited-time NASCAR Racetrack, providing a race car experience within the Jailbreak environment.
- Merchandise Purchase:
Official NASCAR x Jailbreak merchandise was available for purchase, allowing players to commemorate the event both in-game and in the real world.
- NASCAR Hauler Skin Quest:
A unique quest was available where players could obtain a limited NASCAR hauler skin for the new Semi vehicle. This involved entering a portal at the NASCAR Racetrack, which teleported players to the NASCAR Speed Hub, a game made by NASCAR. In this hub, players needed to complete 4 laps, then return to the Jailbreak world using the portal inside the game to obtain the skin.
- Community Engagement:
Although not a mechanical aspect, the collaboration served as a means to celebrate NASCAR's heritage within a virtual setting, providing an engaging platform for both NASCAR and Jailbreak communities to interact and celebrate the occasion.
Through these elements, the NASCAR x Jailbreak event provided a blend of racing, quest-completion, and virtual merchandise acquisition, offering a rich and engaging gameplay experience to the participants.
