Hyundai Motor Company has announced that it will offer future mobility experiences in its Virtual Hyundai Motorstudio on the metaverse platform ZEPETO. This virtual platform allows users to interact with each other using their avatars to participate in various activities. It is particularly popular among millennials and Generation Z, who can thus engage in various lifestyle activities and freely express themselves. Hyundai introduced its first virtual Motorstudio in 2021 on ZEPETO, and is now adding a second floor of exhibition space with more advanced activities. Future mobility experiences include notably the S-A1, advanced aerial mobility, the S-Link, specially designed mobility, and the S-Hub, the future mobility transit center - all located in Downtown (Future) of ZEPETO.
In the first-floor exhibition room, ZEPETO users can watch the brand advertisement film of Hyundai IONIQ for dedicated battery electric vehicles, featuring BTS, and discover Hyundai's Earth Day campaign posters in collaboration with BTS.
On the second floor, visitors can get miniatures of S-A1 and try or buy Hyundai's recycled eco-friendly clothing collection Re:Style. Future mobility experiences include notably the S-A1, advanced aerial mobility, the S-Link, specially designed mobility, and the S-Hub, the future mobility transit center - all located in Downtown (Future) of ZEPETO.
In Downtown (Future), ZEPETO users can discover various future mobility solutions announced by Hyundai Motor at CES 2020. They can visit the future mobility transit center S-Hub, take a ride in the S-A1 urban air mobility vehicle, and experience three specially designed mobility concepts S-Link, including a clinic, a party room, and a food truck.
To celebrate the expansion of the second floor of the Hyundai Virtual Motorstudio, the company held the "I'm On It" challenge on ZEPETO, by posting avatar selfies with BTS content on social media.
According to Thomas Schemera, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Customer Experience Division at Hyundai Motor, "in order to build strong and lasting relationships with the younger generations, Hyundai Motor is creating virtual experiences where they can familiarize themselves with our brand vision and our future mobility solutions". The company will continue to use virtual reality platforms to communicate its brand vision with new virtual spaces and content, inviting everyone to join them in the metaverse.
