Hyundai Motor Co. has teamed up with Naver Corp.'s Zepeto, a 3D avatar app with over 220 million users worldwide, to offer a unique driving experience for its high-performance brand, N Line.
This collaboration allows Zepeto's users to virtually test drive Hyundai's Sonata N Line in Zepeto's online urban spaces and other driving zones.
This move makes Hyundai the first global auto company to offer an immersive driving experience on Zepeto. Hyundai plans to offer more of its vehicles on the platform beyond the Sonata N Line (see Hyundai CRETA driving experience), with a focus on expanding the customer experience into the virtual world.
The initiative is primarily targeted at Millennials and Generation Z, aligning with Hyundai's aim to enhance its corporate image as a leading-edge technology brand and appeal to customers seeking sporty driving experiences in the metaverse.
