Hyundai Motors Indonesia has partnered with the Metaverse platform, Zepeto, to launch a virtual test-drive arena for the Hyundai Creta. This collaboration aims to introduce the Hyundai Creta to younger generations, particularly millennials and Generation Z.
The Hyundai Creta experience on the Zepeto platform offers users various features. Users can freely explore the virtual space, including areas named "Driving Zone" and "Downtown (Future)," and enjoy a virtual test-drive of the Hyundai Creta. Furthermore, they can create a digital record of their avatars using the Hyundai Creta photo booth.
Additionally, there's a feature called "My Own Creta," which is part of the video booth experience. This gives Zepeto users the opportunity to customize the Creta according to their preferences. With ten feature packages, ten exterior colors, two interior colors, and three types of Radiator Grille or Daytime Running Light, users can create up to 9,000 unique combinations of the Creta. This allows customers to design a car that matches their personality.
As part of the experience, Hyundai also offers a reward program for customers who participate in the "My Creta" film production on Zepeto, from March 30 to April 13, 2022. Users have the chance to win rewards by making their "My Own Creta" film at the Hyundai booth and uploading it on the Zepeto platform with specific hashtags.
Hyundai's initiative in Zepeto aligns with its global strategy to be a strong brand in both the vehicle and technology sectors, offering an enjoyable driving experience to all generations, and particularly aiming to reach younger customers in the digital world. The company's president director, SungJong Ha, has described Hyundai as a game-changer in Indonesia's automotive industry, providing more than just products and services.
